Computational Paleophysiology

Fees and Other Information

Computational Paleophysiology offers students an opportunity for networking and hands on learning, as well as the opportunity to discover Utah's wealth of fossil animals.

The course fee of $2,274.  45 for nonmatriculated students includes 3 semester units of credit (two lecture, one laboratory), transportation to and from the field, entrance and camping fees at museums and National parks, and all food during the time we spend in the field. Students will need to bring their own tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, sunscreen, insect repellent, and other personal items.

Camping gear can be rented for reasonable rates at campus recreation services.

Course Credit

Course credit will be provided to those participants interested. Transcripts are issued at the end of the Summer Semester (approximately mid-August) and must be purchased by the student directly through the University of Utah Transcript Office. Up to date information is available on the website of the Transcripts Office.
